Backbone (“we”, “us”) provides logistics tracking for drivers and consumers. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account details (name, email, phone, role)
• Shipment and delivery activity you perform in the app
• Device push tokens for notifications
• Location (when you grant permission) while tracking an active load
• Photos/documents you upload for bills of lading or proof of delivery

How we use information

We use this data to operate tracking, notify parties about shipment status, support account security, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

Data may be shared with shippers, receivers, and dispatchers connected to a load, and with service providers (hosting, maps, push notifications, cloud storage) under contract.

Location

Location is used to show live progress on active routes. You can revoke permission in device settings; some tracking features will stop working.

Retention & security

We retain account and shipment records as needed for operations and legal obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards; no method of transmission is 100% secure.

Your choices

Contact us to access, correct, or delete account data where applicable. You may disable notifications and location in system settings.
